What to eat at the new Centrepoint restaurants

Gastro+ at The Centrepoint

Centrepoint-14

The new Centrepoint makeover is almost complete. After Robinson’s moved out and Metro took its place, the rest of this shopping mall has been undergoing some serious changes. Most worthy of note to us is the many new Centrepoint restaurants and food outlets that have started or are about to start operations. Here is a quick look at some of the new food and dining options at the new Centrepoint Orchard mall. We are in the process of trying out the new places and have provided links to our posts about those restaurants that we have tried.

Restaurants in Centrepoint

There are a few things that have not changed. The open central atrium and some of the long time tenants around this core area has remained.

The Centrepoint Cafes & Restaurants

Kyoaji Japanese Dining is a sparkling new Japanese restaurant on the fourth floor. We were there recently and thought that their set lunches were good value for money.  Read our review here.

Crystal Jade Kitchen – This new outlet of Crystal Jade needs no introduction. We only need to say that this popular Chinese restaurant chain manages to maintain their quality despite opening up so many outlets in Singapore. This new Centrepoint restaurant also stands out for its bold decor. Read our review here.

Gastro + The new food precinct in The Centrepoint is called Gastro+. It is roughly in the sector that was previously occupied by stores such as Harvey Norman and Marks & Spencer.  Spread over several floors, it houses familiar names like Astons, Din Tai Fung and The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf as well as newcomers to the Singapore food scene like Honolulu Cafe and Souper Tang.
