IndoChili Science Park (Outlet Closed)

IndoChili (Science Park) is one of the latest tenants to set up at Savourworld. We had visited this cluster of restaurants at Science Park Drive, near NUH.  This was our first visit to Savourworld in the evening. The huge signs glow bright at night. The atmosphere there is also more relaxed. It looks like a meeting place for nearby office workers after office hours.  It was not crowded, just pockets of activity in some of the bars and restaurants.  IndoChili is a halal Indonesian restaurant. They provide added choice and diversity to the food options at the Kent Ridge area.

IndoChili (Science Park) at Savourworld is a casual restaurant with indoor sitting as well as some tables in the patio area.  We decided on a table outside as it was cool in the evening. The restaurant also faces the central open air area which has a nice hustle and bustle of activity.   The menu is contained in an iPad and looks similar to the one which we saw during our visit to their Tanjong Pagar Centre outlet.

We had some chicken satay ($9.80 for a half-dozen). They were quite consistent with what we had previously. It is something we can recommend as a dependably good item to have a IndoChili.

The fried brinjal was also a good dish. The sambal eggplant has a light level of  spiciness that goes well with plain steamed rice.

Our third dish was ikan goreng kremes – fried marinated pomfret fish ($10.80).  This was not so well received. It was a small fish with a fishy taste.

This is a group photo of what we ate at IndoChili (Science Park).
