The restaurants at Alley on 25, Andaz Hotel Singapore is a collection of food and beverage outlets on the 25th floor of the hotel by the Hyatt group. It seems to us that the Andaz brand is pitched at a similar level as the W Hotel group. Luxurious, but in a modern and hip way. The trend of new hotels in Singapore these days is to incorporate some fashionable restaurants into the design. See for example our visits to restaurants at the new Novotel Singapore on Stevens, Sofitel Singapore, Intercontinental Hotel Robertson Quay. Alley on 25 takes it one step further by having an entire 25th floor dedicated to wine and dine.
Alley on 25
The lifts open on level 25 to the reception at Alley on 25. The first stop is a place known as the Sunroom. This is a lounge area for guests staying at the Andaz Singapore Hotel. Some hotels have such a Club lounge for guests staying at the more expensive rooms. We understand that at Andaz, this lounge is open to all the hotel guests. All day refreshment is served and Andaz Lounge hour (when wine and ale are served) takes place from 5 to 7 pm. Sunroom is a classy meeting spot for the guests.
Icehaus
Icehaus is the most attractive dining area at Alley on 25. It serves “light and easy dining, with cold cuts, sustainable seafood, heirloom salads and locally-inspired desserts.”
