Cedele Bakery Kitchen: Mindful Combinations for Wellness Menu

Healthy eating is a good idea during the festive season. Fortunately, it is not too difficult to find healthy eats in restaurants and cafes in Singapore. We went for lunch recently at Cedele Bakery Kitchen in Raffles City and had an affordable and tasty yet healthy meal. The Cedele Wellness Menu offers wholesome dishes that look good and taste good too.

Cedele Bakery Kitchen

Cedele or Bakery Depot have built their business on serving wholesome food using fresh natural ingredients. About a year back, Cedele Bakery Kitchen started rolling out their new menu with a wellness section and with plant-based dishes. Their website says “with the Wellness First section in our new Bakery Kitchen menu, we have intentionally paired and combined foods that will make you feel good – foods that fuel you. So whether you have a busy day full of appointments, or you need a power lunch that will keep you alert, you can feed your body well and feel energised rather than sluggish thereafter“.

Cedele Bakery Kitchen currently has outlets, in Greenwich V, HillV2, Parkway Parade, Star Vista, Waterway Point and Raffles City.

We visited Cedele Bakery Kitchen in Raffles City recently. It is located on the second level of the Raffles City near the escalators leading to the Convention Centre.

Pictures of the menu of Cedele Bakery Kitchen are below. It is a simple menu but there is a fair range of options. There are brunch items, pastas, burgers and mains. Vegetarian friendly and gluten free dishes are indicated on the menu.

We ordered the Tofu Miso Pasta ($15), with a $3.50 addon for cappuccino, and the Garlic Grilled Chicken ($18) from the “Wellness First” section. The prices included GST and there was no service charge.

Tofu Miso Pasta

The Tofu Miso Pasta looked like an Asian noodle dish. Wholewheat spaghetti aglio olio was topped with shiitake mushrooms, pumpkin and edamame. Miso dressing was added by the taste of miso was not really discernible. The vegetarian dish was light but satisfying.

Garlic Grilled Chicken

The grilled chicken thigh was served with lots of rocket leaves as well as cherry tomatoes, chickpeas and millet. The chicken, topped with crispy garlic bits, was tender and delicious. It was a bonus to know that the tasty dish supplied a good dose of minerals and fiber that would be good for health.

We enjoyed our lunch at Cedele Bakery Kitchen. The service was friendly and the Cedele Wellness Menu offers interesting healthy options. Cedele Bakery Kitchen is a place where we can eat well and feel well. It is a restaurant with affordably priced wholesome food made with quality ingredients which will be good for ordinary patrons who are watching weight, managing cholesterol levels, eating for a healthy heart or just eating to feel good.
