Crystal Jade Kitchen Westgate is probably the Chinese restaurant in the Jurong East area that we have frequented the most. Directly linked by walkways to the Jurong East MRT station and also the Ng Teng Fong Hospital, it is often the Chinese restaurant that comes to mind when we have things to attend to in the area. For a restaurant in the suburbs, it looks rather grand and we have seen birthdays and business lunches being hosted there. Here is a compilation of some of the things we ate at Crystal Jade Westgate during a couple of recent lunches.
The entrance to Crystal Jade Kitchen Westgate looks rather messy on the outside because of the number of standing displays. Once inside the restaurant looks much better. We like the full glass walls and spacious feel of the place.

This is a useful list for anyone looking for a Chinese restaurant in Jurong East or other part of Singapore during the 2019 CNY period.
There is a good range of dishes, including dim sum, available at Crystal Jade Kitchen Westgate. There are also some set menus which makes it easier to order when dining in a group. Here are some sample pictures of their menus.

We like the cheong fun items – either with char siew or prawns. The rice rolls are smooth and fine. The steamed mushroom dumplings are tasty.

In addition to dim sum, we sometimes try other items on the menu. If we are feeling rich, we will order the live prawns cooked in a
