10 of the best Great World City restaurants and food places

Like green shoots after the rain, new Great World City restaurants have sprouted following the major renovations that started last year. Although some works are still in progress, a large part of the retail section has re-opened for business. Here is our list of 10 of the best Great World City restaurants and food places. Some are totally new Great World City restaurants and some are familiar ones continuing over from the pre-renovation times.

According to the Great World City website, renovation work commenced in mid-April 2018 and is estimated complete by the third quarter of 2020, which will be just in time for the projected completion of the new Great World MRT Station along the Thomson-East Coast line in 2021.

Kuriya Monthly set menu (Aug 2019)

Kuriya Dining is a grand Japanese restaurant at Great World City. It is located on the ground floor near the office towers and does not appear to have been affected by the renovations. We find the ala carte menu to be quite pricey, but the set menus appear reasonable.
