The arrival of autumn heralds the peak season for a notable delicacy – the hairy crab. Yàn presents this coveted seasonal yield, sourced from Lake Tai in Jiangsu, through à la carte dishes, as well as part of a set menu which includes delectable Cantonese fare.

The Steamed Hairy Crab ($68++ per crab) offers classic indulgence for traditionalists and enthusiasts alike. The crabs are simply prepared in the time-honoured method – steamed, to highlight the crab’s natural sweetness. Wok-fried Scallops with Prawn Paste, Vegetables and Hairy Crab Meat ($48++ small) combines the divine sweetness of each seafood in a hearty, flavourful dish.

Ever-popular favourites, the Beancurd Broth with Hairy Crab Meat ($24++ per person) and Poached Noodles with Hairy Crab Meat ($16.80++ per person) make a return.

A six-course set menu ($128++ per person) offers the signature Steamed Hairy Crab and Poached Noodles with Hairy Crab Meat, in perfect harmony with dishes such as Crispy Fried Cod Fish Fillet with House Special Sauce, and Stewed Vegetables with Conpoy, Dried Scallops and Egg White.

This November, Andaz Singapore will be taking part in Movember, an annual charity event that encourages men to grow a moustache for the entire month of November, to raise awareness for men’s health. Through this, the movement aims to raise funds and awareness for men’s health issues such as mental wellness, prostate cancer, testicular cancer and more. To support the movement, Andaz Singapore will be hosting a pop-up barbershop offering grooming services on a pay-as-you-wish basis, and an enhanced Movember Lazy Breakfast priced at SGD 45* per person in the month of November.

Andaz Singapore will partner with local barbershop Soul Hair Studio to provide a unique barber pop-up experience for guests every weekend in November 2019 from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. 

Alley on 25’s special Movember Lazy Breakfast spread will have an enhanced new seafood counter, serving a choice selection of prawn cocktails, sustainable mussels and a weekly rotation of Movember-inspired cocktails.
