This year’s Singapore National Day Celebrations will be held in the heartlands over the weekend of 6 and 7 August 2022 and at The Float @ Marina Bay on Tuesday, 9 August 2022. The National Day Parade (NDP) theme is “Stronger Together, Majulah!”. If a family that dines together stays strong together and Singaporeans love food, National Day 2022 dining will be a great way to build bonds among family members and fellow Singaporeans.

Many F&B outlets and hotels have interesting National Day 2022 dining promotions and special offers. There are discounts for Singapore’s 57th Birthday and themed gastronomic delights for the national holiday. Uniquely Singapore-inspired multi-ethnic fare buffet and National Day dim sum brunch are among the interesting dining options. The NDP Coupons this year give access to some great F&B deals for National Day 2022 dining, whether at home or at restaurants.
National Day 2022 Dining with Grand Hyatt’s uniquely Singapore-inspired multi-ethnic fare

Celebrate Singapore’s 57th birthday with Grand Hyatt Singapore’s very own uniquely Singapore-inspired showcase of multi-ethnic fare at StraitsKitchen. The convivial buffet line-up features local favourites from halal-certified live show kitchens. Begin the hearty feast with quintessential local delights prepared à la minute such as the popiah or a tasty blend of “rojak”. For the mains, highlights include a repertoire of classic local dishes reminiscent of the best-loved staples in Singapore’s hawker fare such as the indulgent wok-fried carrot cake and char kway teow with tiger prawns.
Keep eyes peeled for the ikan bakar sambal, a fragrant barramundi wrapped in local spices in the Malay live show kitchen, or the roasted juicy Australian lamb leg rubbed with aromatic herbs and flavours. Don’t miss out on the Indian counter firing up deliciously charred tandoori-style meats.
For desserts, one must try the durian soft-serve ice cream for lovers of durian, or the coconut soft serve ice cream. As a pro tip, pair them with freshly prepared banana fritters or fried durian balls available at the next counter for an irresistible treat.
