The World’s 50 Best Restaurants 2023 has been announced. Chef Julien Royer, owner of Singapore’s three Michelin-star Odette, won the Chef’s Choice Award. The Estrella Damm Chefs’ Choice Award is the only peer-voted accolade in The World’s 50 Best Restaurants programme. It honours a chef who has made a positive contribution to the global culinary scene over the last year, as chosen by the teams behind the restaurants in this year’s list.
Odette won the Best Restaurant in Asia award, and came in at No 14 on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list for 2023.
Peruvian restaurant Central won the title of best restaurant in the 2023 World’s 50 Best Restaurants awards held in Valencia, Spain. Disfrutar in Barcelona came in at No 2. and Diverxo in Madrid was placed No.3.
Odette is the only restaurant in Singapore that made the Top 50 list.
Burnt Ends was placed No.65, Zen at No.69, and Meta at No.84.
