Christina’s at Mondrian Singapore Duxton is a stylishly laid-back restaurant. It has just launched a brand new menu, taking its culinary offerings to the next level.
New Menu of Asian and Mediterranean Influences
Helmed by the award-winning Chef Kenny Huang, the new menu boasts a unique blend of Asian and Mediterranean influences, all cooked over fire and embers. Chef Huang’s passion for open-flame cooking shines through on the Josper Grill, a charcoal oven that imbues dishes with a smoky depth of flavour.
By day, Christina’s remains a haven for casual catch-ups and leisurely lunches. Soak in the beautiful light-filled space adorned with the eye-catching “Crystalized” art installation, while enjoying breakfast favourites like Chili Crab Scrambled Eggs or spiced Shakshouka with fresh flatbread.
Drawing inspiration from his family story, the lunch and dinner offerings showcase the chef’s love for fire-cooked dishes and the vibrant fusion of Asian and Mediterranean flavours.
Sharing plates and Josper-grilled specialties
Diners can expect a delightful mix of sharing plates and Josper-grilled specialties. Indulge in a decadent wood-fired mac & cheese, or be wowed by the signature king prawns flambéed tableside with a fiery chili, coriander and lime sauce.
For a taste of something lighter, the crisp-skinned sustainable seabass with a refreshing fennel, rocket and olive salad is a winner. There are also sharing plates like the tuna tartare with caviar. Meat lovers won’t be disappointed either – the wagyu sando and 40 days corn-fed chicken promise to tantalise the palate.
No meal is complete without dessert, and Christina’s doesn’t disappoint. The smoked yuzu caramel and sea salt churros offer a sweet and salty symphony, while the grilled pineapple with smoked ice cream and coconut is a tropical treat.
Prices for social plates start from $8. Wood-fired grill items range from $8 to $38.
Perfect recipe for food, fun and family
For regulars of Christina’s, there is now more reasons to return to the restaurant at Mondrian Singapore Duxton. As Chef Kenny explains, “when creating the new menu at Christina’s, I drew on the tastes of my youth, refined through my years working in Singapore and Europe. For me, the perfect recipe for the table at Christina’s is food, fun and family, and generous dishes you can keep coming back to.” And for those who have not been to Christina’s yet, there’s no better time than now. From fire-kissed seafood to comforting classics with a twist, there’s something for everyone at this stylish restaurant.
