56 international and award-winning chefs from the 40th World Chef Congress will gather at CALI @ Novotel Singapore on Kitchener to mark the finale of the World Chef Congress 2024.
The World Chef Congress cum CALI Critique dinner will be held on 25 October 2024, at 7 pm.
World Chef Congress
Organised by Parisian-based World Chefs Limited, the World Chef Congress is a biennial gathering that attracts thousands of chefs from numerous cities. Singapore is the host of the 40th edition of the Congress, to be held at Marina Bay Sands and Singapore Expo from 20 to 25 October 2024.
Gathering of Top Chefs
The finale dinner will see the convergence of 56 international and award-winning chefs, including the President of the World Association of Chefs Societies, Chef Thomas Andreas Gugler. Multiple Culinary Olympics gold medal winner Chef Dimuthu Kumarasinghe from Sri Lanka and Chef Tarek Ibrahim, a recognized Global Judge of the World Association of Chefs, are the other notable attendees.
CALI was chosen to host the final dinner of the congress. A highlight of the evening will be a panel critique session, where the award-winning chefs offer their insights and feedback on CALI’s Culinary World Tour Menu.
Culinary World Tour Menu
CALI’s Culinary World Tour Menu features seven global cuisines, including cuisines from the Caribbean, Mexico, France, America, China, Mughlai and Asia.
Menu highlights include
Fiery Caribbean Shrimp Delight (shrimp marinated in bold Caribbean spices and fiery habanero peppers and grilled to smoky perfection)
Jamaican Escovitch Fish (lightly seasoned and fried whole fish, complemented by a tangy escovitch sauce)
Stuffed Bun Chicken Briyani (marinated and slow-cooked chicken stuffed in a bun)
Wagyu Petite Tender Fajita Medley from Mexico (premium Wagyu beef, seasoned and seared to perfection, served with warm tortillas).
