Below are screenshots of the cafe’s digital menu.
Shashouka & Cajun Chicken
We ordered the Shashouka ($20) and Cajun Chicken ($17) as well as a flat white ($5.90) and a matcha latte ($6.90)
The Shashouka was a delicious dish featuring two poached eggs in a rich, tomato-based sauce with lots of different spices. It was served with toasted sourdough bread, which was perfect for dipping into the sauce and soaking up all the flavours. It was a hearty dish that was both comforting and satisfying.
The Cajun Chicken consisted of grilled chicken thigh marinated in a spicy seasoning. It was served with crispy fries that added a satisfying crunch, along with a side of boiled vegetables for a nice contrast in texture and a bit of freshness. The chicken was juicy and had a pleasant kick from the mildly spicy marinade. Overall, it was an enjoyable dish.
Both the coffee and matcha were of good quality, with rich, bold flavours.
