As part of the refreshing of Marina Square, a whole section of this sprawling mall was dedicated to dining. They call this the “Dining Edition”. Located on level 2 of the mall (at the end near the Esplanade MRT station), the Dining Edition Marina Square is a collection of around 16 eateries of diverse genres and concepts. Today your ordinary patrons had lunch at one of these places and will report on this in due course. For now, we will take you on a walk though to show you the options available here. Basil Thai Kitchen is a casual Thai restaurant in Kallang Wave Mall (Singapore Sports Hub). The newly opened eatery is run by ThaiExpress, a member of the Minor Food Group.

The queue leading to the cafe gives a good indication of the popularity of Nam’s Brewing Thai Tea & Coffee which serves traditional Thai beverages like ChaYen, ChaDamYen and ‘O’Liang at very reasonable prices.
Mai Thai Restaurant is a casual Thai restaurant at the quaint beach front like dining deck of Greenwich V in Seletar Hills. It seems to be one of the most popular restaurants there during lunch time. Nara Thai restaurant, well known for its Boat Noodles and authentic Thai dishes, just opened a branch at #03-07 Westgate Mall. The original outlet at ION Orchard is known for its high quality ingredients and authentic traditional recipes. Decorated in a simple, almost zen-like interior, the restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere and has an extensive menu.
