Lunch at Chef Wan’s Kitchen, Esplanade (Closed)

Chef Wan’s Kitchen is a new restaurant at the Esplanade Mall. The Esplanade Mall is the retail and f&b section of the Theatres by the Bay complex (also known as “the Durian”).   It is a convenient place to go for a meal or drink just before or after catching a performance or concert at the Theatres by the Bay. The person behind the restaurant is celebrity Chef Redzuawan Ismail, also known as Chef Wan. Another Singapore restaurant associated with him, the halal Asian cuisine, buffet-style restaurant, 1 Market by Chef Wan at Plaza Singapura had closed in 2016. Lamb Biryani and Turkish Delights at Levant Singapore

Levant Singapore is a restaurant in Watten Estate serving Middle Eastern cuisine. Along the stretch of restaurants along Greenwood Avenue serving mostly Western fare (and a few Japanese restaurants), Levant stands out as the one that is quite different.

Fat Prince Kafe & Kebabs

There are not many Middle Eastern restaurants in Singapore. So naturally when a new one opened in Tanjong Pagar, we decided to check out this new Turkish restaurant Singapore –  Fat Prince Kafe & Kebab. It is situated in a shophouse on Peck Seah Street, a small lane behind the Red Dot Design Museum on Maxwell Road.
