Penang Hawkers’ Fare Returns To York Hotel

The next edition of York Hotel’s Penang Hawkers’ Fare returns from 15 December 2023 to 1 January 2024. The lunch and dinner buffet offers a repertoire of classic dishes such as Penang Laksa, Char Kway Teow, Nasi Lemak with Nyonya Kapitan Chicken, Oyster Omelette, Roti Canai, and Kway Teow Soup.

York Hotel’s Penang Hawkers’ Fare is available at White Rose Café for
lunch and dinner at S$38++ per adult, S$23++ per child (12 years and below) from Mondays to Thursdays and
$42++ per adult, S$27++ per child on Fridays, Saturday, Sundays, and Public Holidays.

Michelin-recommended Man Fu Yuan presents an exclusive Winter Solstice dining experience from 1 December to 31 December 2023. Diners can savour a delectable selection of dishes curated by Executive Chinese Chef Aaron Tan, capturing the essence of winter season and celebrate the tradition of the Winter Solstice, known as Dong Zhi (冬至) amongst the Chinese.

The specially crafted menu showcases a harmonious blend of flavours with seven a la carte dishes, incorporating seasonal ingredients that are both hearty and heart-warming. They include Braised Winter Melon with Crab Meat, Crab Roe, Dried Scallop and Egg White ($42++ per portion), Crocodile Soup with Chinese Herbs and VSOPognac ($88++ per portion), and Braised Spinach, Pumpkin and Chinese Yam ($26++ per portion).

The new airport-exclusive – The Chilli Crab Pizza – pays homage to the iconic local dish that Singaporeans adore. Alongside the Chilli Crab Pizza, GOPIZZA also launched a series of creatively fresh offerings, such as the Jalapeno Pepperoni Pizza and Truffle Cheese Pizza.

Delivered just like a fast-food meal, every step of GOPIZZA’s pizza-making process is strictly controlled with the incorporation of the AI Smart Topping Table, GOBOT Station, and its latest iteration of GOVEN. This new series of AI-Technology roll-out is especially prominent in GOPIZZA’s Changi Airport outlet, where it ensures consistent and fresh baked pizza for hungry travellers who often face the urgency of purchasing food-on-the-go.

Each pizza is assembled on the AI Smart Topping Table, where a smart camera is installed overhead to swiftly identify and track pizza toppings, guiding the staff through each step of assembling the toppings. It is then baked for 3 minutes in an AI-controlled GOVEN that is twice the temperature as compared to its conventional counterpart.
In just a couple of minutes, the freshly baked GOPIZZA lands on the GOBOT, which is designed to automatically slice the pizzas into GOPIZZA’s signature shape and keep them warm until they are served to the customers.
