Real Thai is tucked away in a corner of the basement of Raffles City. It is a fast food restaurant offering a good range of Thai fare from Pad Thai and Boat Noodles to Mango Sticky Rice and Durian Samosa. Real Thai Raffles City has its roots in a company that has been exporting Thai ingredients for many years so it is not surprising that it should know the best ingredients that will deliver the authentic taste of Thai delicacies.

A nice cafe in Singapore with coffee that is (almost) too cute to drink

It was a dark and stormy day.   The weather in Singapore s so unpredictable these days. One minute the sun is blazing and the next minute it is storming.  Too lazy to brave the elements we decided to hang out at this nice cafe in Singapore – The Stamford Brasserie at Raffles City.   We had been to this place before and would normally prefer to try out a new place. But for this cosy quiet cafe in Singapore, we were happy to make an exception. Its ability to endear seems to grow on us.

Tempura Ten Ten is a new Japanese restaurant that recently opened in the basement level of Raffles City. It is a small restaurant with a limited menu but it serves three of our favourite types of cooked Japanese food – tempura, unagi and ramen. The basement of Raffles City is a warren of food outlets waiting to be discovered.  Tempura Ten Ten lies in the deepest bowels of this place. It is near the famous and ever crowded Din Tai Fung restaurant.
