Another fishy lunch at a top restaurant for steamed fish in Singapore

What do you feel like eating when you are just recovering from flu? During that transition period between sickness and full recovery, the one comfort food we like is soupy Teochew porridge and some lightly flavoured side dishes. The recent protracted flu spell (see “Rainy, cool weather may have prolonged peak flu season” ) made the transition period an extended one.  One of our sessions of Teochew porridge was at Zai Shun Curry Fish Head Curry which we regard as a top restaurant for steamed fish in Singapore.

Lunch at Taste Paradise Dynasty Westgate – casual Chinese restaurant in Jurong East

It has just dawned on me that the restaurant group formerly known as Taste Paradise has dropped the word “Taste” from their name. On their official website they are now simply known as the Paradise Group. Within the Paradise Group, there are different categories of restaurants. The Taste Paradise Dynasty class of restaurants seems to have a focus on northern Chinese cuisine. They also have the colourful xiao long bao as one of the main attractions on the menu.  We had lunch at Paradise Dynasty Westgate recently.
