Ro.ia. – New Restaurant at Singapore Botanic Garden’s E.J.H. Corner House
The stately black & white E.J.H. Corner House in Singapore Botanic Gardens is now home to Ro.ia, a new fine dining restaurant inspired by the river Roya which curves between France and Italy.
The modern, French fine dining concept is helmed by Chef Priyam Chatterjee, who has been conferred the French knighthood, Chevalier de l’Ordre du Mérite Agricole. He has trained under some of the best in Europe, including Jean-Claude Fugier, Akrame Benallal and Koldo Royo. Roia pairs Chef Priyam’s style of French dining with a natural and organic approach. The menu explores traditional French techniques with a focus on the flora found in the Botanic Garden. Expect dishes such as Hokkaido Scallop with Yoghurt and Finger Lime, and Lumina Lamb with Maitake Mushroom & Herb Purée.
