Spring Blossoms at Keyaki
24 March to 25 April 2020
Celebrate a new Spring with two specially curated Kaiseki set menus that will artfully present the freshest seasonal produce in a multitude of exquisite dishes designed to please the senses.
The concept of seasonality is deeply ingrained in the Japanese culture and in the culinary aspect, Executive Chef Shinichi Nakatake is a firm advocate of “shun”, a traditional belief that food should only be consumed in its proper season, when it is at the peak of its flavour and is only available for a limited time during that season. The joy of eating “shun” is the anticipation of that particular food and the deliciousness of the ingredient, and Chef Nakatake has specially sourced for premium Spring ingredients to showcase at Keyaki during this promotion.
Enjoy the Hassun course, a platter of appetisers that are meticulously prepared to showcase the seasonality of ingredients, and other culinary highlights such as Sakura Dai (Cherry Blossom Sea Bream) Claypot Rice, Paper-wrapped Wagyu Beef and Takenoko (Bamboo Shoot) Sukiyaki and a trio of desserts including Sakura Dumpling, Houjicha Tiramisu and Sakura Raindrop Cake.

German Gastronomy at Gordon Grill
17 April to 14 June 2020
Embark on a gastronomic exploration of German flavours and ingredients as Gordon Grill pays homage to Goodwood Park Hotel’s 120-year legacy. Once known as the Teutonia Club in the 1900s, the property was an exclusive enclave for German expatriates. Gordon Grill celebrates the hotel’s origin with an exemplary selection of notable German dishes. Available from 17 April to 14 June as both a three-course or four-course set menu or a five-course degustation, the creations highlight lesser known dishes from the different Germanic regions, refined for today’s cosmopolitan palate.
The epicurean affair sees highlights such as smoked Black Forest Ham and Brown Mushroom Ragout with hollandaise sauce, a novel creation that expertly combines the flavours of the Northern coastal areas of Deutschland with that of the South. Classic flavours of Bavaria emerge in the Bavarian Sauerkraut Soup and the Crispy Pork Belly served with dark beer and caraway gravy, a hearty dish that includes braised savoy cabbage and mini bread dumplings.
