A #NewKinki Reopens After A Daring Revamp

19 February 2021

Kinki Restaurant + Bar_Rooftop

Born May 2010, Kinki Restaurant + Bar with is stunning waterfront views has been given a revamp to make it bigger, bolder and badder. It reopens on 19 February with a transformative change from sumo to geisha. The geisha is the epitome of Japanese femininity and hospitality. But this lady is slightly different. Observing the F&B scene for the past 10 years, she is now ready to take over and rule the world. She is a mix of tradition meets modernity. She flouts the rules and does things her own way – the Kinki way.

Kinki occupies the two levels at Customs House, a conserved building built in the 1960s for the Singapore Customs Police. On Level Two, the doors open to a modern Japanese tea house, an alternative world where good times await. On Level Three is a rooftop bar with a raw, underground feel and a ‘juxtaposed-mash’ artwork of respected urban artist, ANTZ of Play Group.

The new Kinki pushes the boundaries, serving up classics in a new light with Instagram-worthy dishes in creative flavour combinations and presentations.
