Baileys Irish Cream in Bubble Tea

Baileys Irish Cream collaborates with popular boba-tea brand Heytea to create a decadent and boozy libation. The Baileys Boboshake features classic Baileys infused with Ceylon Black Milk Tea topped with decadent whipped cream and crushed pecans. The boboshake also comes in a hot version for a comforting drink reminiscent of warm milk.
Available at Heytea outlets (ION Orchard, Clarke Quay, Westgate and Marina Bay Sands) at $9.90 each, this lovely concoctions is in stores from now until March 15.

Inspired by the philosophy of ‘从头到尾’, a phrase which translates loosely to ‘from start to finish’, Head Chef Ng Sen Tio presents the Star Grouper Three Ways Recommendations Menu, available at $168++ for 4 to 6 diners. The menu speaks of Chef Ng’s culinary skills through multiple expressions of the prized star grouper fish, valued for its delicate, sweet quality.
Guests will also be delighted to further indulge in dining specials: a choice of three appetisers for $20++, as well as a promotion for all set menus where one guest dines free with every three paying adults.
Yàn also has five-course lunch specials that comprise two set menus at $38++ per person,5 exquisite lunch or dinner set menus ranging from $68++ to $128++ per person.

Park Hotel Farrer Park has a new an all-day al fresco bar in the breezy courtyard on level 5. Hang out with yourself or your favourite people over premium spirits, ice cold pints, selection of wines, or non-alcoholic options while snacking on mouth-watering Thai-inspired bites such as Spicy Larb Chicken Balls and Thai Hor Mok (Steamed Fish Mousse on Cracker).
From 3 pm to 9 pm daily, the bar offers house pour spirits and wines at 50% off retail price while draught beers go for only $10 a pint. Verde Kitchen Introduces New Locally Farmed Produce

Starting February 3, 2020, Verde Kitchen‘s seasonal menu showcases its chefs’ talents through a modern twist to Asian flavours, incorporating the use of locally farmed produce as part of a continual commitment in advocating for a sustainable food system. In addition to raising awareness on sustainable dining, the seasonal menu also serves as a conscious effort to support two celebrated global environmental initiatives: Earth Hour and Earth Day on March 28 and April 22, 2020 respectively.
The new seasonal farm-to table menu spotlights on Asian flavours, showcasing simple yet tasty dishes and living up to its mantra of presenting “real food, full of natural flavours”.
Dedicated farm-to-table specials include:
- Kerabu salad: Shredded locally farmed lacto chicken tossed with local spice, ginger flower, cabbage, lemongrass and carrots.

The iconic Chin Mee Chin Confectionery in Katong has been closed for some time. Initially, there was a sign that said it would be temporarily closed. Then there was a new sign which said it would be closed until further notice. It looks like Chin Mee Chin is not likely to reopen anytime soon. We just saw a sign announcing business opportunities with Chin Mee Chin. They may be looking for partners or investors or someone to buy the brand, which carries considerable goodwill.
