Lunch at Salvo PLQ3

We visited Salvo By Pasta Fresca for lunch recently. We ordered Chicken Cotoletta Milanese ($23.90) from the a la carte menu and and the Authentic Italian Set ($14.90), opting for the pasta, tiramisu piccolo and hot coffee.

The staff were welcoming and friendly. Iced water was served while we waited for our food. The wait for the first dish to arrive was fairly short.

Chicken Cotoletta Milanese

The Chicken Cotoletta Milanese was served with a very generous helping of salad. The crunchy breaded fried chicken breasts was delicious.

Ravioli stuffed with spinach & mozzarella cheese

The pasta of the day for the set lunch was ravioli stuffed with spinach & mozzarella cheese. Salvo plated the simple pasta dish nicely and the portion size was fairly generous. The ravioli was sautéed with olives, cherry tomatoes, capers and other ingredients. The dish had it all – flavour, texture and colour; and it was also delectable.

Tiramisu Piccolo

The set lunch dessert was tiramisu piccolo. We expected a tiny piece of tiramisu. The a cup-sized portion was a pleasant surprise. Salvo’s version of the mascarpone, coffee, sponge and cocoa dessert was a luscious treat. Delightful tiramisu with hot Americano was a nice way to round up a good Italian lunch.
