Hotdogs
Hot dog, a grilled or steamed sausage served in a partially sliced bun, is also called wiener or frankfurter or just frank. Two different European cities claim to be the birthplace of the hot dog: Vienna, Austria and Frankfurt, Germany. There is also much speculation about the origin of the name (according to TheHotDog.org, the name might have been derived from jokes and innuendos based on a popular 19th-century belief that dog meat could turn up in sausages).
Most will agree that the hot dog stands in Coney Island, New York City made the hot dog an all-American eat which became popular throughout the United States. Those in Singapore of a certain vintage may reminisce about the first Coney dog tried at A&W.

Classic & Gourmet Hotdogs
We had tried Super Sub Hotdogs with various toppings.
The Good Ol’ Classic ($5.80) is more than the basic hotdog. The smoked chicken sausage in a nice soft bun was topped with lots of healthy fresh vegetables, pickles and olives. It was an enjoyable and satisfying hotdog.
The Truffle Egg-Mayo Nice ($8.80) included lettuce, sweet corn and pickles. It was like a good egg mayo sandwich with bonus ingredients.
The King Guacamole ($8.80) included rocket leaves, jalapenos, capsicum, olives and mayonnaise. There was a great combination of textures. For the avocado toast fans, this is a great option at a more affordable price.
We liked the tortilla chips with cheese dips. The tortilla chips with a variety of add-on toppings can be ordered as a separate dish. The local coffee, freshly made, was as good as the coffee you get in the popular local coffee chains.
When we want a quick enjoyable meal, which covers all the major essential food groups, with beverages included for under $10, we now have the great option of Super Sub Hotdogs.
