Cocobella Lifebar One Holland Village: Cute cafe serving coconut drinks and desserts

Cocobella Lifebar One Holland Village is an attractive cafe that caught our eye with its bright blue canopy since it opened at new shopping mall, One Holland Village. We did not step foot inside because we did not know what to expect of a “lifebar”. Well eventually, curiosity got the better of us and we finally checked it out.

Superfood Bar from Australia

Their website describes Cocobella Lifebar as a “… superfood bar that celebrates all the wonders of the mighty coconut...”. It serves Cocobella products which apparently are now the #1 coconut water and coconut yoghurt in Australia.  The Lifebar is an attractive space with a camper van mockup being the customer service area,

After ordering at the counter, we had a few seating options to choose from in the spacious dining area which was decorated with wood and rattan fittings. The place has a tropical resort feel, which is most appropriate for a coconut themed cafe,

Cocobella Lifebar Menu @ One Holland V

Here is a picture of a part of the Cocobella Lifebar menu board. Cocobella smoothies, drinks and frozen yogurts (or froyo) are made from coconut water which is supposedly potassium-packed and hydrating. Products are said to be made with fresh, all-natural ingredients with no artificial additives. With all these descriptions we felt healthier just by walking into the lifebar. All the items on the menu look fresh, clean and delicious. We decided to try the Berry go Round Froyo Bowl.

Dairy Free Coconut Yoghurt

In addition to the direct health benefits, Cocobella products such as dairy free yogurt will also appeal to those that are not fans of airy products. These products are also sold in Singapore at Cold Storage and NTUC Fairprice

Cocobella Froyo Bowl

The Berry Go Round Froyo Bowl had a base of strawberry frozen yogurt topped off with strawberries, marshmallows and raspberry crumbs. With all these nice things, one cannot go wrong with this pretty bowl of refreshing dessert. I do not know enough of the health benefits of coconut. But I think this is a pleasant place for dessert and coffee for those who are not tolerant of diary products. Being one of the quieter places at the new One Holland Village mall also makes it one of the preferred places to escape from the crowds.
