Singapore is set to host its inaugural Coffee Week from 31 October to 3 November 2024. This four-day extravaganza, organised by the Singapore Coffee Association, will celebrate the vibrant coffee culture of our little island nation and offer a unique blend of education, entertainment and indulgence.
The event will take place at Plaza Singapura, where attendees can explore a range of interactive activities, coffee masterclasses, and a bustling marketplace featuring both local and international coffee brands. From bean-to-brew demonstrations to exciting barista competitions, there’s something for everyone to enjoy.
A Journey from Bean to Brew
Visitors can embark on a coffee education journey, learning about Singapore’s rich coffee heritage and the intricate process of transforming raw beans into the aromatic brews we love. Free coffee masterclasses will provide opportunities to learn the art of coffee cupping and latte art from industry experts.
A Coffee Lover’s Paradise
The event will showcase a diverse selection of coffee products, including beans, drip bags, grinders, machines and milk alternatives. Brands such as Tanamera Coffee, Huggs Coffee and Tiong Hoe Specialty Coffee will be among the many participating exhibitors.
Exciting Competitions and Prizes
Coffee Week will also feature thrilling barista competitions, including the Singapore Barista Team Championships and the Dalla Corte Espresso Championship. Participants will have the chance to win attractive prizes, such as coffee-brewing kits, grinders, and even a trip to Italy, by engaging in various activities and challenges.
Café Hopping Adventure
In the lead-up to the main event, coffee enthusiasts can embark on a café-hopping adventure across Singapore. By visiting participating cafés, they can collect stamps and receive vouchers redeemable at the Coffee Week marketplace.
