Tuxedo Café & Patisserie at Carlton Hotel Singapore has launched a new collection of fine cakes and pastries. The range features seven handcrafted cakes and three pastries with unique Asian-inspired flavours, available from 2 June 2025.

Artisanal cakes and pastries
Singapore’s artisanal patisserie scene continues to evolve with establishments introducing creative flavour profiles. Local ingredients and Asian influences are increasingly featured in contemporary dessert offerings across the city. The new Tuxedo Café & Patisserie collection represents the latest addition to Singapore’s growing selection of handcrafted cakes and pastries, offering consumers more choices in premium dessert options.
New Handcrafted Cakes
The new cake selection includes innovative flavour combinations that blend Western techniques with Asian ingredients. The Peach Oolong Cube pairs vanilla biscuit with peach sponge and oolong crémeux. The Coconut Latte combines coffee crumble with coconut sponge and Baileys mousse.
Other new cake offerings include the Lemon Basil Tart with honey basil jelly and lemon curd, and the Sudachi Cheese Yoghurt Gateau featuring vanilla-lime cheese crémeux. The Dark Chocolate Acai Pear blends dark chocolate mousse with acai and pear elements.
The collection also features the Chocolate Raspberry Gateau with brownie layers and raspberry, and the Strawberry Citron Sphere encased in vanilla Chantilly. All new cakes are priced at $9 to $9.90.
New Pastries Selection

Three new pastries complete the range. The Pulut Hitam Yam Bun draws inspiration from the local dessert, combining black glutinous rice paste with yam purée in a soft bun. This nostalgic creation costs $5.80.
The savoury Ham and Cheese Loaf offers layers of ham and melted cheese for $8.80. The Choco Macadamia Danish features ganache and macadamia bits in flaky pastry, also priced at $5.80.
These additions join existing popular items including the Blueberry Lemon Cheese Tart, Passionfruit Banana Cake, and Apricot Hazelnut Crème.
The pastry team has focused on multi-dimensional flavours and refined presentation. Each creation balances sweet and savoury elements while incorporating both familiar and exotic ingredients.
Tuxedo Café & Patisserie operates within Carlton Hotel Singapore, which also features the award-winning Wah Lok Cantonese restaurant and all-day dining Café Mosaic. The new fine cakes and pastries are available for dine-in and takeaway at the café. Customers can also place delivery orders through the Oddle eShop platform.
