The popular Geylang Serai Hari Raya Bazaar or the Bazaar Ramadan at Geylang Serai is here again. The Geylang Serai Hari Raya Bazaar 2018 started on 16 May and would run till 14 June 2018. It seems that this year the pasar malam which runs during the month of Ramadan has much more to offer than just food. Whether the essence of a Ramadan festival is retained is debatable but there is certainly more stalls selling Hari Raya essentials. There are new elements in the 2018 edition of the Bazaar Ramadan, like booths in the newly opened Wisma Geylang Serai and stalls in an air-conditioned tent. A visit to the Geylang Serai Hari Raya Bazaar 2018 should be an interesting experience – whether you like traditional street food or trendy new concoctions or just like to revel in the spirit of a unique Singaporean event.

Colourful concoctions, rainbow, unicorn, cheese and Thai tea seem to be the dominant themes at the latest Bazaar Ramadan @ Geylang Serai. The traditional Malay local street food is still available aplenty. A visit to the Geylang Serai Hari Raya Bazaar 2017 should be an interesting experience whether you are a street food lover or not.
