Tamba, a newly opened restaurant in the Duxton neighbourhood, celebrates the vibrant spirit and rich flavours of West Africa.
The sister restaurant of Kafe Utu promise to take guests on a flavourful journey. Housed within the cool shade of the restaurant’s thatched roof, guests can choose from staples such as Jollof Rice with sofrito, Sakura chicken and smoked pork belly; Tapalapa bread with goat’s milk ricotta, drizzled with house-smoked honey and smoked bacon butter; and Suya, a grilled skewer dish made of Angus tenderloin and accompanied by kachumbari.

Abura Kappo
Hashida Singapore’s Abura Kappo, a restaurant-within-a-restaurant, presents a refreshed fixed menu featuring spring produce. It features elegant Carpaccio with Japanese yellowtail and squid, alongside a vibrant Hotaru Ika (firefly squid) salad bursting with seasonal vegetables.
The menu ($200++ per diner) executed by Hatch’s crew is a succession of 13 bites, each a revelation of textures and flavours.
Available à la carte are the delicacies of melt-in-your-mouth Uni & Caviar Tempura ($35), Ika & Caviar Tempura ($24), and Kani Tempura ($12), which spotlights the seasonal treasure of snow crab. The Golden Mochi ($12), gratifyingly crisp and chewy, is a welcome indulgence.
