YenneY Restaurant offers a refreshing take on Vietnamese cuisine. This spacious eatery, with its contemporary décor and airy ambience, provides a welcome affordable meal option in the Central Business District (CBD) of one of the most expensive cities in the world.

YenneY @ Marina One

YenneY Vietnamese Restaurant is located in basement two of Marina One East Tower. It has an attractive interior with a table arrangement that can accommodate dining parties of various sizes. Despite the absence of natural light, the restaurant maintains a bright and welcoming atmosphere.

Menu of YenneY
The restaurant’s menu, crafted by two sisters – one a fashion designer and the other a landscape architect – showcases traditional Vietnamese flavours with a modern spin. This unique collaboration has resulted in an extensive selection of dishes that cater to various tastes and preferences. Patrons can choose from an array of options, including the ever-popular Pho, Banh Mi, Bun Cha and fresh spring rolls, as well as special items like French Vietnamese Steak and Fresh Oysters. There are also vegetarian options, salad bowls and rice dishes. For those seeking a caffeine fix, the restaurant also serves authentic Vietnamese coffee.

Lunch @ YenneY
During our visit, we ordered two rice dishes: the Grilled Pork Chop Rice and the Chicken & Cashew Nut Rice (both priced at $13.90).

The Grilled Pork Chop Rice impressed with its complex flavour profile. The pork, marinated in a blend of aromatic ingredients, had a smoky flavour with a delightful citrusy note. The grilled pork chop had a nice char on the outside while remaining juicy and tender within. The dish was completed by plain steamed rice, a fried egg, and fresh cucumber slices, as well as a bowl of comforting soup, making it a satisfying and flavourful meal.

Equally satisfying was the Chicken & Cashew Nut Rice. The stir-fried chicken and nuts came coated in a well-balanced sweet and savoury sauce with a tinge of the spiciness of peppers.

The lemongrass tea, available both hot and cold, was refreshing. The hot version was soothing, while the cold version provided a welcome relief from the midday heat, effectively cleansing the palate between bites.
YenneY stands out for its value

In the heart of the CBD, finding a good affordable meal in a pleasant and comfortable place can be difficult. YenneY stands out for its value. The space feels spacious and not cramped. Its menu offers a wide range of choices and the prices are reasonable. The service is quick and efficient. It is a restaurant that encourages you to go back to explore the varied Vietnamese cuisine on its menu.
