SG60 Heritage Dining with Harbour Views at The Fullerton Hotels Singapore

The Fullerton Hotel Singapore and The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore are marking National Day with a programme that transforms their historic venues into showcases for local flavours. SG60 at The Fullerton Hotels invites guests to savour hawker-themed feasts and a special afternoon tea experience, presented in collaboration with well-loved local hawkers and household name, Ya Kun, respectively. The Lighthouse and The Clifford Pier will open their doors for dazzling views of the fireworks display, as well as live screenings of the National Day Parade.

Running until 31 August, the centrepiece is Town Restaurant’s “Hawker Feast by the River,” where seven established hawker stalls have set up temporary operations within the hotel’s dining room. The collaboration brings Da Shi Jia’s Michelin Bib Gourmand prawn noodles, Good Chance’s traditional popiah, and Hougang’s grilled otah directly to diners overlooking the Singapore River.

The dinner buffet operates Tuesday through Saturday, with weekday prices at $88++ per adult and weekend rates at $108++. On 9 August, both lunch and dinner services will feature live National Day Parade screenings, with evening diners gaining exclusive access to the hotel’s South Plaza for fireworks viewing.

At Jade restaurant, weekend dim sum takes on local characteristics through “The Little Red Dot Yum Cha” menu. Standout items include Golden Baked Gula Melaka Char Siew Pastries and the restaurant’s signature Bak Kut Teh Xiao Long Bao, served with traditional condiments. Two new desserts debut here: Shaved Milo-Coconut Ice and an unexpected Shaved Curry-Coconut Ice. Weekend seatings are priced at $60++ per person.

Memory Lane Afternoon Tea in Collaboration with Ya Kun

Ya Kun Collaboration - Memory Lane Afternoon Tea

The hotels’ afternoon tea collaboration with Ya Kun represents a more ambitious crossover between heritage hospitality and local coffee culture. The “Memory Lane Afternoon Tea” incorporates Ya Kun’s kopi and teh blends into desserts, including a Yuan Yang creation with coffee-infused sponge and chocolate ganache. Traditional scones appear alongside pandan coconut versions, served with Ya Kun’s kaya spread instead of conventional preserves.

Available at both The Courtyard and The Landing Point until 31 August, the afternoon tea costs $60++ per adult. Weekend guests at The Courtyard on 2-3 and 9-10 August can observe Ya Kun representatives demonstrating traditional brewing methods at a live station.

The Lighthouse

The Lighthouse

For National Day itself, The Lighthouse offers elevated local cuisine through its four-course “Singapore Skyline Dinner,” featuring Boston Lobster Otah with Chilli Crab Rillettes and Beef Buah Keluak. At $198++ per person, the meal includes champagne and rooftop access for fireworks viewing.

The venue’s rooftop bar also has a Rooftop Celebration package from 6pm to 9pm, with cover charges of $89++ per adult (including champagne and snacks) and $45++ per child.

The Clifford Pier

The Clifford Pier - NDP Fireworks

The Clifford Pier’s “Party at the Pier” presents a more relaxed approach, with buffet dining accompanied by local band Singapore Char Siew Bao performing National Day classics. The evening package ($195++ per adult) includes al fresco terrace access for the aerial display.

Lantern

For those seeking an elevated viewing experience, Lantern rooftop bar offers premium positioning for the National Day spectacle. The “Let’s Celebrate” package on 2 and 9 August provides unobstructed marina views with table service options ranging from $888++ for four guests to $1,388++ for six, both including Veuve Clicquot champagne, house spirits, and National Day canapรฉs. Individual cover charges at $138++ per person include two drinks and access to the aerial display viewing area.

SG60 Heritage & Harmony Cake

Executive Pastry Chef Siddharth Prabhu’s “Heritage & Harmony” cake serves as the celebration’s sweet symbolโ€”a red-glazed entremet combining roselle crรจme with mango-pineapple compรดte, coconut milk mousse, and pandan chiffon, topped with an edible chocolate replica of the Fullerton Building.

The Fullerton Building is a grand neoclassical landmark built in 1928. Gazetted in December 2015 as a National Monument, it was once home to Singaporeโ€™s General Post Office, the Exchange, Chamber of Commerce, and the prestigious Singapore Club. For nearly a century, it played a pivotal role in Singaporeโ€™s rich history.
