Singapore dining scene gets another refresh this month with reopenings, new menus and exciting debuts. From Michelin-starred reinventions to casual coffee spots, here are the latest F&B offerings worth checking out this August 2025.



Cherry Garden by Chef Fei – Cantonese Meets Teochew

Mandarin Oriental’s 38-year-old restaurant unveils a new identity under Michelin-starred Chef Fei. The menu combines Cantonese finesse with Teochew heritage from his hometown Chaoshan.
Highlights include lobster with basil and pickled mustard greens, and boneless crucian carp congee with every fine bone removed by hand. The sautéed Wagyu beef with Sichuan peppercorn shows East-meets-West influence.
The space features wooden trellises and stone walls that evoke traditional courtyard houses. Four private dining rooms accommodate groups from four to 18 guests.

The Coach Coffee Shop at Resorts World Sentosa

American fashion brand Coach has opened its first Singapore coffee shop at WEAVE, Resorts World Sentosa. The outlet sits at the front of Coach’s retail store, serving up New York-inspired fare alongside the brand’s signature coffee. The brand’s coffee cup mascot, Lil Miss Jo, appears on packaging and exclusive merchandise like tote bags and baseball caps.

The all-day menu focuses on American classics. Highlights include a fully-loaded Reuben sandwich, grilled cheese, and a weekend-only cheeseburger. For dessert, American cruller donuts come in raspberry, maple, and apple crumble flavours.
The soft-serve selection offers nostalgic options like peanut butter and jelly, plus peaches and cream. A Singapore-exclusive chili crab flavour caters to local tastes. The drinks menu covers coffee, hot chocolate, and cherry lemonade.

Shin Katsu – Premium Tonkatsu Specialist

Chef Matsubayashi Masato opens his first independent restaurant in Tanjong Pagar. The former Ma Maison head chef brings 15 years of tonkatsu expertise to create a premium dining experience.
The menu centres on globally sourced pork cuts including Hungarian Mangalica, known as the “Kobe beef of pork” for its marbling. U.S. Kurobuta offers tender texture and savoury depth. Both feature in signature dishes like Mangalica Hungarian Rosu Katsu.
Japanese-style Mille-Feuille Katsu sets present delicately layered pork in classic, cheese or black truffle variations. The 3-in-1 Shin Katsu Combo combines prawn, Canadian Rosu and Hire cutlets.
Chef Masato uses bespoke panko breading and signature frying techniques. All sets come with refillable miso soup, charcoal-grilled rice, cabbage and house-made pickles.

Alice Boulangerie – Gourmet Buns and Elevated Dining

French bakery Alice Boulangerie opens a new outlet at Raffles City with a new Fine Crumbs concept. The 100-seat outlet features a cottagecore-inspired design with stone walls and tree branches.

The gourmet bun range follows Asia’s creative bun trend with over 25 flavours planned, starting with seven signatures priced from $3.40 to $7.70. Each bun uses premium Japanese flour and the traditional Yudane method for soft, chewy texture. The 12-hour natural fermentation develops flavour without artificial additives. Highlights include Angus Short-Ribs Bun with slow-braised beef in matcha bun and Mentaiko Prawn Bun with tiger prawns in charcoal oat bun.
The bakery by day and dinner destination by night offers dining menu that includes Wagyu Beef Tartare ($26), Prawn Toast ($22), Beef Tongue Skewers ($22) and Scallop Crudo ($24).

Nonette – Parisian Bánh Mì Comes to CBD
From 4 August

The cult Parisian sandwicherie opens lunch service from 4 August at RASA Space in Raffles Place. Founded by Singaporean Pearlyn Lee in Paris, Nonette serves bánh mì on artisanal baguettes with house-made charcuterie.
The lunch menu features classics like Vietnamese fried chicken bánh mì and jambon beurre, plus gourmand options with sunny-side eggs. Signature Liège waffles and “not-too-sweet” donuts complement the beverages.
The pop-up runs until 4 October, serving lunch Monday to Friday and dinner Wednesday and Friday.

JAAN – Summer Menu Celebrates 10 Years

Chef Kirk Westaway marks his 10th year at the 70th-floor restaurant with a summer menu available until 11 October. The Modern British cuisine highlights peak-season ingredients with dishes like red mullet with courgette and bouillabaisse.
New creations include langoustine pie with finger lime caviar, and barbecued Berkshire pork with lemon and girolle mushroom. The reimagined English Garden features 25 to 30 individually prepared vegetables.
Final sweets are presented on a sculptural steel tree designed by Chef Kirk, featuring blackberry and lemon pie with ingredients from JAAN’s aquaponics farm.

CÉ LA VI – Transformed Restaurant Opens

The iconic rooftop destination unveils its transformed restaurant on 26 June after 15 years in Singapore. Award-winning Prospect Design International redesigned the Marina Bay Sands venue with integrated indoor and outdoor spaces seating 151 guests.
The main dining room features a mirror-stretched ceiling and onyx stone bar as centrepiece. Burgundy-stained wood and bamboo pillars honour Southeast Asian craft. An expanded private dining room includes a built-in wine cellar and carved wooden panels with regional motifs.
The new menu presents Modern Asian cuisine through a five-course degustation and à la carte options. Highlights include A4 Miyazaki beef tataki with turmeric leaf oil, and miso Chilean seabass with Szechuan green chili sauce from CÉ LA VI London.
Cocktails include The Silent Gold margarita with passion fruit and shiso, and Ed’s Favourite Negroni with Botanist gin and Suze bitter.

Ginger.Lily – Michelin-Starred Afternoon Tea

Hilton Singapore Orchard’s lobby lounge launches Chapter Four of its afternoon tea series from 3 July. The collaboration with Michelin-starred Chef Adrien Descouls from Origines restaurant in France creates “A Symphony of Origins: Terroir and Bloom”.
Executive Sous Chef Cindy Khoo partners with the French chef to blend his Auvergne-inspired savoury creations with her Japanese-influenced French pastries. The experience includes oysters with floral tea jelly, shepherd’s truffle broth, and steak tartare with spiced tea.
Eight desserts feature French-Japanese fusion, including Hakuto peach chouquettes and pink lady macarons with black sesame praline. Premium Président Professionnel dairy products elevate the pastries.

SanSara – North Indian Fine Dining Returns

The Robertson Quay restaurant reopens on 1 August with a completely new look and menu. Master Chef Pannalal Nath draws from 25 years of experience to create dishes from Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana and Kashmir.
New signatures include Tali Scallops with Hokkaido scallops and chef’s masala, and Keri Wali Machli Curry featuring Chilean sea bass in mango curry. The Sailana Shevand uses lobster instead of prawns in a fenugreek and coconut cream base.
The interior pays homage to the Taj Mahal with light stone surfaces and arched lighting. The 50-seat restaurant will run special menus for Independence Day, followed by a Rajasthani Food Festival from September to October.

The Masses – Franco-Asian Gets Produce Focus


The Capitol Kempinski restaurant debuts Menu 19.0 with a shift towards ingredient-led dishes. Chef Dylan Ong moves from punchy flavours to balanced sophistication, letting natural produce shine.
New starters include Amélie oysters with calamansi foam and charred mackerel toast with saffron rouille. The beignet filled with anchovy-parsley aioli and topped with red shrimp tartare shows the Franco-Asian approach.
Mains feature cumin-chilli rubbed lamb rack and truffle four-cheese cavatelli. The restaurant offers four formats: à la carte, 6-course Chef’s Menu ($65.90), 9-course Communal Menu ($68.90), and weekday set lunch ($30.90).

Blue Bottle Coffee – Second Singapore Outlet

The California-based coffee chain opens its second Singapore location at Paragon. The 980 square foot space seats 70 and features both indoor and alfresco dining.
Exclusive to this outlet are freshly made Liège waffles ($8.50) and yogurt bowls ($12) with granola and strawberries. The Embroidered Blue Bottle Tote ($50) is available only at Paragon.
Blue Bottle and partner Valiram plan to open at least 10 more Singapore cafes by 2027.

Senmo Coffee – Sentosa’s New Brew

The 764 square foot café debuts at Resorts World Sentosa with over 20 drinks featuring local flavours. The Pandan Coconut Latte ($8) and Coffee Mojito ($8.40) lead the menu.
Named after “Sen” for Sentosa and “Mo” for mojo, the café celebrates the island’s heritage. The pink dolphin mascot pays tribute to Sentosa’s iconic attractions from the past.
Special opening promotions include 3D Merlion ice cream in five flavours starting from $12, made in collaboration with Miss Sweetie.

NAE:UM 2.0 – Michelin-Starred Korean Gets Refresh
From 21 August

The Michelin one-starred restaurant reopens on 21 August 2025 as NAE:UM 2.0. Chef Louis Han moves away from episodic menus to present a complete narrative of his Contemporary Korean cuisine.
The hanok-inspired space now resembles a giwajib, traditional dwellings of Korea’s noble class. The signature 8-course tasting menu costs $268++, with a 6-course lunch option at $228++ available on Saturdays.
The menu blends modern techniques with Korean flavours and personal memories. Chef Louis presents his stories as a whole rather than in episodes.

Man Fu Yuan – Cantonese Classics Reimagined
From 18 August

InterContinental Singapore’s Cantonese restaurant presents a refreshed menu from 18 August 2025. Executive Chef Aaron Tan reimagines classics with contemporary presentation and refined techniques.
Showstoppers include the theatrical Flambé Roasted Angus Beef Tomahawk with Mongolian sauce, and Chef Combination 2.0 featuring dim sum, cold kitchen, hot kitchen and barbecue elements in one platter.
The Oyster Story presents oysters in three expressions, while the oven-baked rock lobster with salted egg yolk sauce offers a modern take on 1990s Cantonese banquet dishes.
