ilLido Group has opened Les Canons at IOI Central Boulevard Towers on Marina Bay’s Central Boulevard. The French bistro serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, with no item on the menu exceeding $20.

New Restaurant Les Canons
ilLido Group operates several dining concepts in Singapore. Les Canons, a casual, all-day French bistro, is its latest addition.
The new restaurant takes its cues from the kind of neighbourhood bistro common in Paris, a place where people eat without ceremony and return often. It is not a fine-dining concept. Tablecloths are absent. The format is à la carte throughout the day, and the pricing is very reasonable for a restaurant in the CBD.
What Is on the Menu

Breakfast runs until 11am on weekdays and covers standard café fare. Croissants are priced at $3.60, Pain au Chocolat at $3.80. Cooked options include Scrambled Eggs ($8), French Toast ($6), Croque Monsieur ($8), and Avocado Toast ($10).

The all-day menu draws from classic French bistro cooking. Starters include Soupe à l’Oignon ($10), Escargots with garlic butter ($12), Steak Tartare ($12), Artichokes with parsley sauce ($12), and Foie Gras ($16). A Bisque de Crustacés — a rich seafood bisque — is priced at $12.

A snacks section offers Chicken Liver Pâté ($8), Smoked Salmon Rillette ($8), Calamari with cocktail sauce ($10), Marinated Olives ($6), and Baguette with butter ($4).
Three salads are available: Parisienne ($12), a mesclun salad with ham, cheese, and mushrooms; Chèvre ($12), a warm goat cheese salad with smoked bacon; and Endives ($10), a red endive salad with Roquefort, apple, and walnuts.
Main courses include Steak au Poivre ($19), Angus sirloin with pepper sauce and fries; Confit de Canard ($18), duck confit; Bœuf Bourguignon ($18), slow-cooked beef cheek; and Coq au Vin ($16), chicken braised in red wine. Seafood options are Flétan à la Grenobloise ($16), halibut with brown butter sauce; and Crevettes Nantua ($18), tiger prawn gratin. A truffle Macaroni au Gratin rounds out the mains at $16.

Sides include Pommes Frites ($6), Haricots Verts with brown butter and almonds ($6), Pomme Purée ($5), and Petite Salade ($5).
Crème Brûlée ($6), Mousse au Chocolat ($8), Mont Blanc with hazelnut ice cream ($9), and Tarte Fine aux Pommes with vanilla ice cream ($9) are included in the desserts section of the menu.
Wine and Drinks

The wine list runs to over 50 French labels. It covers key regions: Bordeaux, Bourgogne, Champagne, Loire, and Rhône. Wines by the glass start at $8. All bottles are priced below $100.
Classic cocktails are offered alongside, including Aperol Spritz ($8), Hugo Spritz ($8), Negroni ($12), Gin & Tonic ($6), and Highball ($6).
An all-day happy hour operates throughout opening hours. Selected drinks are priced from $6.
How It Compares on Price

In the CBD, a set lunch at a restaurant of comparable ambition typically runs $28 to $45 per person. At Les Canons, a starter, main, dessert, and a glass of wine would come to roughly $35 to $45. For that you get the full menu, not just a limited set meal The sub-$20 price cap applies to every food item, including main courses.
The wine-by-the-glass-from-$8 pricing is also unusual. Most CBD restaurants in Singapore start wine by the glass at around $15.
With prices and a format that suit repeated visits, Les Canons appears to be positioning itself as a high-frequency, everyday option rather than an occasion venue.
