五只小熊 5 Little Bears at Paya Lebar Square
5 Little Bears 五只小熊 is a small Taiwanese restaurant in Paya Lebar Square serving popular Taiwanese food such as Honey Glazed Chicken Chop, Braised Pork Rice, Oyster Vermicelli and Sour Plum Sweet Potato. They also have bubble tea and papaya milk. It is well patronised even though it has only a few tables for dine-in customers. Many are happy to wait in queue for the few seats in the restaurant or to buy to take way.Read More »五只小熊 5 Little Bears at Paya Lebar Square
Dazzling Cafe Singapore at Capitol Piazza (Outlet Closed)
Dazzling Cafe 蜜糖吐司專賣店, the Taiwanese dessert chain, has opened its Singapore branch at the new Capitol Piazza. Dazzling Cafe Singapore seems like it is designed for the instagram generation. The cafe, its food and even its menu all look colourful and dressed-up to be photographed. The food at Dazzling Cafe Singapore is good but not that good that I would wait in line if there should be a long queue.
吃在台北 eat at Taipei in Singapore Sports Hub
Taipei is well known for its night market and street food. 吃在台北 eat at Taipei gives us a chance to savour Taiwanese street food and snacks in Singapore. It has several outlets in Singapore and a new one opened in Kallang Wave, Singapore Sports Hub earlier this year. The Kallang Wave outlet is quite attractively decorated with many colourful signs. We think it is quite a good place for a simple casual meal.
LeNu @ Bugis Junction
We stumbled upon LeNu at the revamped food basement of Bugis Junction, not realising that the Taiwanese beef noodles outlet is part of the Paradise Group.
