Ichiban Boshi is a chain of casual Japanese restaurants with conveyor belt sushi and a wide selection of sashimi and a variety set meals. Currently, there are Ichiban Boshi Outlets all over the island that remain open for takeaway.

Soba & Beef Teriyai Don
We went to Ichiban Boshi at Parkway Parade to order Wakame Soba ($8.90) and Beef Teriyaki Don ($11.90) for Japanese takeaway.
The soba was nicely packed in a 2 layer container. The noodles and ingredients were in the top layer and the broth was in a a separate layer – allowing us to mix them up only we were were ready to eat.
The Wakame Soba was simple comfort food. The dish of Japanese noodles with seaweed and fishcake was a convenient, affordable and tasty meal.
The Beef Teriyaki Don was well made. The portion of sliced beef was quite generous. The beef, coated with soy sauce and flavoured with various other ingredients, was tender and delicious. It would be a dish we would happily order again.
Affordable Japanese Takeaway
Ichiban Boshi makes it easy to get affordable Japanese takeaway. They have a rather extensive takeaway menu. Their outlets are spread across the island, in central locations like Great World City and Novena Square, as well as Causeway Point in the North, Century Square in the East and Jurong Point in the West. They also deliver island wide.
