As Singapore celebrates her 53rd National Day, Changi Airport is one of the many things Singaporeans can be proud of. Changi Airport was voted by air travellers as the world’s best at the 2018 World Airport Awards for the sixth consecutive year. Changi’s newest terminal – Terminal 4 or T4 – has a host of innovative and experiential features. It is the first terminal to use facial recognition for check-in and immigration clearance. T4 has the dancing Petalclouds, a 70m by 5m LED Immersive Wall, a Heritage Zone and a Boulevard of Trees. There are features designed with #selfie and #foodgram in mind. There will also soon be a new five-storey ‘chandelier-inspired’ playground in the departure area. The installation art features climbing nets and a pole for people to slide down at 2m intervals. We are most happy to find that Changi Airport Terminal 4 is a great place to eat – both in the public area and in the transit area.
