Geylang Prawn Noodle T4 Food Emporium Changi Airport

It was our first time visiting the new Terminal 4 at Singapore Changi Airport. We took a walk about to check out the new terminal and discover what is there to eat at T4.  That was how we ended up at the Food Emporium and trying the Geylang Prawn Noodle T4.

Geylang Prawn Noodle T4 is located deep inside the food court in the public area on the level 2 of Terminal 4.  Food Emporium is the name of the food court. It is a nice looking food court but looked rather quiet. We will have more pictures of it at the end of this post.  The decision to eat at Geylang Prawn Noodles was made mainly because they had a 30% discount on that day. Without the discount the prawn noodles or pork rib noodles cost $7.50 each. We decided on a pork rib noodles and a combined pork and prawn noodles ($9.50 before discount).

The noodles looked attractive were served in claypots. They were also useful in keeping the soup hot. The same broth is used for both and it was a very good tasting broth. The prawn taste is there but not overpowering.  The prawns were fresh and tasty. The pieces of pork rib were slightly tough. We would have preferred them to be soft till the meat falls off the bone easily. Other than that, we were happy with what we ate at Geylang Prawn Noodle T4.

Changi T4 Food Emporium and nearby restaurants (public area)

Now we show you show pictures of Food Emporium and some other Changi T4 restaurants nearby.

As you can see the Changi T4 Food Emporium is very spacious and attractively laid out. There is a bit of retro introduced into the design. Tables are spread out and it is a pleasant place to have a meal.  The usual hawker centre food items are there – chicken rice, beef noodles, Teochew porridge, yong tau foo etc.

Next to the Food Emporium is an area where a few other restaurants are located on the public area of level 2 (i.e. before immigration).  Here you can find Sushi Goshin, Andes by Astons, London Fat Duck and McDonald’s. It seems like a good mix of different cuisines to cater for the different tastes of the international clientele that will be passing though the new terminal 4 Singapore Changi Airport.
