For over 30 years, Prego has been a go-to for diners craving a taste of Italy. Now, the popular restaurant is set to tantalise taste buds once more with a brand new à la carte menu, crafted by their newly appointed Executive Head Chef, Davide Bizzarri.
Chef Bizzarri, a native of Pisa with over two decades of culinary experience, brings a fresh perspective to Prego’s kitchen. Drawing inspiration from his Tuscan heritage, the menu promises an exploration of the diverse flavours of the region, from its mountain ranges to sun-drenched shores. There is a focus on fresh, seasonal ingredients.
A Modern Twist on Tradition
Expect familiar Italian fare with a contemporary twist. Highlights include handmade pastas, wood-fired pizzas and an array of antipasti and grilled meats.
Start the meal with a selection of antipasti, including the signature Grandioso Board showcasing cured meats.
A standout dish is the Cappuccino di Funghi, a whimsical creation that presents a velvety porcini mushroom soup in a cappuccino cup, topped with a light truffle oil foam and finished with seasonal truffles.
Handmade Pastas
Prego has always been known for its handmade pastas, and Chef Bizzarri doesn’t disappoint. The menu features unique creations like the Linguine Astice e Burrata, a lobster bisque linguine with fresh burrata cheese and a pesto coulis made with Tuscan kale grown on-site at the hotel’s Aquaponics farm.
Pizza
Pizza fans will rejoice at the lighter, crispier crusts. Look out for the Sapori di Bosco pizza, boasting a flavourful combination of garlic cream, mozzarella, scamorza cheese, porcini mushrooms, pancetta ham and truffle slices.
Sweet Endings
Leave room for dessert. Chef Bizzarri offers playful takes on classic Italian sweets, like the Semifreddo ai Lamponi, a deconstructed raspberry cheesecake, and the Vin Santo e Cantucci, a whimsical interpretation of the traditional Tuscan after-dinner treat.

Living up to its name, which translates to “welcome”, Prego exudes a warm and inviting atmosphere. The restaurant’s ambience marries sleek modern interiors with distinct Italian accents. Hints of Italy’s distinctive piazzas are introduced with rustic red brick walls, cultured stone table top and intimate booth seating.
Prego’s à la carte menu is available daily for both lunch and dinner.
