June means we are almost at the halfway point of the year, and Singapore’s ever-evolving food scene is showing no signs of slowing down. With a flurry of exciting new restaurants opening their doors, alongside refreshed menus and special dining experiences, there is always something new to try. June also means Father’s Day specials and dumplings for Dragon Boat Festival. Here are highlights of culinary delights to explore in June 2024.

La Brasserie Launches ‘Joie de Vivre’ – Champagne Brunch by the Marina Bay Waterfront

La Brasserie at The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore is presenting a refreshed champagne brunch experience, Joie de Vivre. Served every weekend against the backdrop of the glistening Marina Bay waterfront, the restaurant invites you to enjoy life to the fullest.

Guests will be welcomed with a classic cocktail, presented from a beverage trolley. Two new live stations will have chefs presenting indulgences crafted with delicacies from land and sea. Throughout the meal, diners will also be tantalised with Pass-around Snacks, featuring ‘Chef’s Specials of the Day’ like Mini Lobster Rolls with Sea Urchin Mayonnaise.

At the Carving Station, diners can order premium cuts such as New Zealand Grass-fed Lamb Rack, Malt Roasted Iberico Pork Belly, and Roasted USDA Grain-fed Prime Rib. For mains, Western highlights include Duck Confit, Coffee Maple-braised Wagyu Beef Cheeks, and Moules Marinières. The afternoon concludes on a note of indulgence, with an artisanal French cheese board and captivating desserts freshly crafted by the pastry team. Dessert lovers can also watch the pastry chef deftly prepare the signature Berries Forest at a new live station.

Madison’s at Pullman Singapore Hill Street is redefining what afternoon tea means, introducing an element of artistic appreciation for guests to savour beyond just the culinary. The new ‘Artistry in Time Afternoon Tea,’ is an exclusive collaboration with the Alphonse Mucha Museum.

Pullman Singapore Hill Street invites guests to experience the works of renowned Art Nouveau icon, Alphonse Mucha, known for his theatrical posters featuring botanical motifs and stylised lines. These include macarons depicting Mucha’s signature patterns, cakes embellished with Mucha-inspired buntings.

Savoury courses include the Lobster—served with Avruga caviar, XO hae bee hiam (dry shrimp chilli) and hollandaise—and the Norwegian Salmon Tartare, accompanied by ikura in a kuih pie tee shell. For sweet courses, the Raspberry Financier lends a unique tartness to the classic cake, while guests can enjoy buttery goodness with a slight kick in the Black Pepper Cookies.

Peppermint at PARKROYAL COLLECTION Marina Bay, Singapore is presenting the “Tidal Treasures!” Seafood Festival, from 7 June until 7 July 2024, showcasing a sea of culinary delights.

From the fresh Fish Station, guests can choose to have their fish chargrilled or steamed, and prepared with Green Thai Chili, Sambal Onion, Szechuan Mala Sauce, Spicy Tomato Sauce, or Tarragon Lemon Butter.

The “Tidal Treasures!” menu also features the exclusive Giant Stingray with Sambal & Urban Farm Calamansi (Available only on weekends), Herb-stuffed Giant Barramundi with Tarragon Cream Sauce, Sustainable Seabass with Spicy Tomato Sauce, and the crowd-favourite Chinese Pumpkin Broth Rock Lobster, Garlic & Chye Poh Mantis Shrimp, Scandinavian Fishermen’s Stew, and Fiskesuppe-style Baked Oyster.

Chick-fil-A®, the popular American family-owned restaurant company, will have a limited-time pop-up in Singapore, a first in Asia. Guests can taste the iconic Original Chick-fil-A® Chicken Sandwich by registering to attend the Chick-fil-A pop-up between 26 to 28 June 2024.

The Original Chick-fil-A® Chicken Sandwich, a recipe developed 60 years ago by S. Truett Cathy, is made with a real, whole, freshly breaded, boneless breast of chicken with no added fillers, the chicken is seasoned, pressure cooked in fully-refined peanut oil and served on a toasted, buttery bun with two dill pickle chips.
