Located in an HDB block on King George’s Avenue, Coze+ is a new café that bills itself as a cultural hub. With its unique blend of art, food, and community, Coze+ offers a refreshing dining experience that will appeal to art enthusiasts and café hoppers alike.
Coze+ occupies a spacious unit within a low-rise HDB block, surrounded by a mix of commercial and retail shops. It is just opposite Jalan Besar Stadium and Lavender MRT station is just a few minutes walk away.
The interior design is modern and inviting, with a focus on creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Wooden strips are used as see-through partitions and ceiling works, adding a touch of sophistication to the space. Large communal tables, window counter seats, and small modular cafe tables provide a variety of seating options to suit different preferences.
Coze+ Art Jamming
Coze+ has a small art studio. It is a relaxing space for art jamming. A 3-hour art jamming session will cost only $40, and that gives you a 40 cm x 50 cm blank canvas and all required materials for acrylic painting. The price also covers unlimited soft drinks, coffee and tea.
You can also rent the whole studio space by the hour. At $80 per hour, you get up to 8 pieces of 40 cm x 50 cm blank canvas and all required materials for acrylic painting, plus 1 soft drink, coffee or tea per pax.provides
They also conduct guided art lesson in collaboration with local talented artists. Featured artists’ works are displayed on the walls of the cafe. There is also a retail corner selling works of local artists.
Menu of Coze+
Coze+ offers a diverse menu that caters to a variety of tastes. While the café specializes in typical café fare such as all-day breakfast items, sandwiches, and pastas, they also offer a selection of Asian dishes, including Japanese and Korean-inspired options. They also introduce special items periodically. There are cakes and pastries on display at the counter.
Below are pictures of the menu of Coze+.
Asia Delights at Coze+
During our visit to Coze+, we had the opportunity to try their Asian dishes: Japanese Beef Don ($12) and Lava Chikin ($22) with an added side of sunny side up eggs at just $1.
Lava Chikin was a Korean fried chicken dish with a citrussy lava sauce. The batter was crispy and flavourful, and the chicken was tender and juicy. With the salad and eggs, it was a substantial well balanced meal that was enjoyable.
The classic Japanese rice bowl topped with savoury beef cubes and onsen egg was a good one dish meal. The portion of beef was quite substantial.
Desserts, Coffee & Tea
We also tried their Chocolate Brioche Wreath ($3.50) and Valrhona Brownie ($4) and well as a Flat White ($5) and Earl Grey Blue Flower Tea ($4).
The tea was a harmonious blend of bright citrus, floral sweetness, and a smooth, robust tea base. It was a refreshing twist on the traditional Earl Grey. Our Flat White was expertly brewed and had a smooth and creamy texture.
The Brioche was soft, with just the right touch of sweetness and chocolatey richness—simple but surprisingly enjoyable. The Brownie was warm, moist, and rich, and it was our favourite item of the day. A perfect sweet way to end our visit to Coze+.
