Surrey Hills Grocer: Laksa Shakshuka fusion

Surrey Hills Grocer introduces the Laksa Shakshuka ($38) throughout August 2025. The dish features house-made rempah with dried shrimp and spices. It comes with fresh prawns, squid, clams, Spanish chorizo and tteokbokki. Two poached eggs top the stew along with crispy tau pok and cashew laksa leaf pesto.
Customers who spend $60 including one Laksa Shakshuka can win $150 vouchers. Diners born in 1965 get 60% off their order. Available at all five Surrey Hills outlets.
Grand Copthorne Waterfront: Durian buffet returns


Grand Copthorne Waterfront’s popular durian buffet runs from 14 July to 14 September at Food Capital. Fresh Musang King durian is served at outdoor stations during dinner. The kitchen creates durian-infused dishes like Gratin Parmigiana Durian and Durian Laksa. Lunch costs $72 per adult. Dinner ranges from $118 to $128.
A special SG60 National Day buffet featuring local favourites runs from 8 to 10 August 2025. The first diner pays full price while the second pays just $6 for lunch or $60 for dinner.

Bวo Bฤo: Chilli crab in a bun

The homegrown bao specialist Bวo Bฤo has a limited-edition Chilli Crab Bao for August 2025. The filling uses premium crab meat with house-made rempah containing candlenut, lemongrass, galangal and three types of chilli.
Each bao is wrapped in signature handmade dough made from natural yeast starter. The dough ferments for up to 14 hours. The result is a light, fluffy texture with gentle heat and sweetness. Available at ION Orchard for $2.80 each throughout August.

PAZZION Cafรฉ x Killiney Kopitiam: Heritage collaboration

The shoe retailer’s cafรฉ partners with the 87-year-old kopitiam chain for a nostalgic menu. Five handcrafted drinks and three desserts run from 2 July to 31 August.
Highlights include Butter Foam Iced Yuan Yang with kaya cream and Ondeh Bliss Iced Latte with pandan and gula melaka. The Jubilee Sundae features star-shaped coffee jellies representing Singapore’s flag.
