With many Singaporean homes lacking the space to host extended family gatherings, having Chinese New Year’s Eve reunion dinner in a restaurant has become a popular choice. Booking early is essential. Many establishments close on Chinese New Year’s Eve to let staff celebrate with their own families. This year, Chinese New Year’s Eve falls on 16 February 2026. Here are some options worth considering.

Chinese Executive Chef Leong Chee Yeng of Jade at The Fullerton Hotel Singapore presents set menus inspired by the qualities of the Horse: strong, graceful and spirited. The Premium Winning Horse Yu Sheng is the centrepiece. It features Norwegian smoked salmon and abalone marinated in rose wine. The dish is artistically arranged to resemble a horse in motion. It costs $888 and requires three days’ advance notice.
For the main course, options include Deep-Fried Peony Chilean Sea Bass with Sweet & Sour Strawberry Sauce ($230 per fish, serves up to seven). The Roasted Irish Pipa Duck is available at $58 for half or $108 for a whole duck. Desserts include Warm Almond Cream with Red Date Paste Glutinous Rice Ball ($20 per person).

Jade offers two seatings: 6pm to 8pm and 8.30pm to 10.30pm. Individually plated set menus range from $118 to $268 per person. A vegetarian option costs $98 per person.
Patrons may also choose to savour Jade’s creations at The Courtyard, set within the grand atrium of The Fullerton Hotel Singapore, against a backdrop of Chinese garden-themed décor. The single seating runs from 6.30pm to 10pm. The set menu costs $228 per person.

The 6-Course Magnificent Riches Set Menu costs $118 per person with a minimum of four diners. It features 8-Hour Slow-Cooked Herbal Dang Gui Chicken, Teochew Style Steamed Black Cod and Stir-Fried River Prawns with Crispy Egg Noodles.
The 8-Course Magnificent Fortune Set Menu is priced at $138 per person for a minimum of four diners. Highlights include Braised Imperial Snow Nest Soup with fish maw, crabmeat and conpoy. Also featured are Braised Sea Cucumber in Superior Sauce with Flower Mushroom and Crispy Pei Pa Duck.
Both menus conclude with Double-Boiled Hawaiian Papaya with Peach Gum.

The Prosperity Yu Sheng costs $88 and serves four to six persons. It features Hamachi instead of salmon, with savoury granola, crisp rice puffs, candied kumquat and pickled ginger. An ume dressing with yuzu oil completes the dish.
Lotus Fragrance US Duck is priced at $138 for four to six persons. The 1.5kg Jurgielewicz farm duck is filled with black truffle glutinous rice, cashew nuts, dried shiitake mushrooms and salted duck egg yolk. It comes with an angelica jus simmered for four hours.
Grilled Barramundi En Papilotte costs $128 for three to four persons and is available for dine-in only. The barramundi is stuffed with Muar otah prawn paste, wrapped in banana leaf, baked and grilled. It is served with sambal ijo.

YARA Fortune Pen Cai serves six to eight persons at $368. The dish features duck, chicken, 8-head abalones, tiger prawns, fish maw, Hokkaido scallops and shiitake mushrooms. A dried sole fish bone broth simmered for six hours forms the base.

Chef Fei’s Yu Sheng is inspired by Chaoshan traditions. It features julienned vegetables, crispy taro, Wujiang salted vegetables and radish.
