If you like grilled fish done Japanese style, this restaurant may be of interest to you. Hidden in one corner of the lowest level of Takashimaya in Ngee Ann City is the Nakajima Suisan Grilled Fish restaurant. Kanshoku Ramen Bar

We continue our list of affordable Japanese restaurants in Singapore with Kanshoku Ramen Bar – a ramen joint that was started by a pair of good friends in Singapore. Tsukada Nojo Chinatown Point

Tsukada Nojo’s specialty dish is Bijin Nabe (美人鍋), or Beauty Collagen Hot Pot. Kanpai Izakaya

The izakaya is one of the most fun type of Japanese restaurants. With a wide range of food, reasonable priced beers and sake and a casual atmosphere, it is the kind of place to go  right after work.  Kanpai Izakaya in Holland Village fits this description. Tomi Sushi 

Tomi Sushi has a few outlets in Singapore. We have tried their Millenia Walk and Katong V outlets. They are both simple Japanese restaurants serving Niigata cuisine. This is the second sushi restaurant in our list of affordable Japanese restaurants in Singapore. Notwithstanding its name, the restaurant offers much more than just sushi. Uya Unagi
