New Jollibee branch in Suntec City

Jollibee, the largest fast food chain in the Philippines, is slowly but surely expanding its presence in Singapore. The “Home of the Famous Chickenjoy” has just opened a new branch in Suntec City.

The popular fast food chain famous for its “crispylicious Chickenjoy” has several branches in Singapore – including outlets in Lucky Plaza, Square 2 Novena, Changi City Point and Paya Lebar Square. It opened a new branch recently in the revamped West Wing Basement of Suntec City.

Jollibee Suntec City occupies a compact space. The seating area is rather limited. The counter, where the cashier takes orders and where the food collection point is colocated, is not big either. There are a few self-ordering kiosks in the Suntec outlet.

The latest Jollibee outlet offers the same standard menu as its other stores in Singapore. Besides fried chicken, spaghetti and burgers are on the menu. Currently, there are weekday treats for $6.

We had the Jollibee’s Chickenjoy Meal which comprised 2 pieces of chicken, a side of mashed potatoes and a soft drink. It was of the expected standard. The chicken was crispy on the outside and the inside was tender. It was not oily and was tasty.

We also had the Chicken Burger Meal ($7) which came with fries and a soft drink. The burger was another nice way to enjoy the tasty chicken of Jollibee.

Jollibee Suntec City makes the popular fried chicken easily accessible to those working in the CBD as well as shoppers visiting the mall. However, expect to wait at least 15 minutes after you place your order before getting your food. During peak hours, the wait can be even longer. Long queues are usual at Jollibee outlets. Jollibee Suntec City is no exception.
