Prive Botanic Gardens

Prive Botanic Gardens is the newest Singapore Botanic Gardens restaurant. It opened in early 2022, just in time for Chinese New Year. It takes over the space previously occupied by Casa Verde, but they have spruced up the place and reconfigured the seating arrangements. There is still a small air-conditioned indoor dining space as well as a large outdoor area.

Halia – Malay for ginger – is a rustic Botanic Gardens restaurant located at the Ginger Garden. It is an Asian fusion restaurant which has items such as lemongrass & ginger prawn salad and Singapore-style chilli crab spaghettini on its menu. The Halia at SBG was voted ‘Halal Restaurant of the Year‘ in Chope Diners’ Choice 2021.

The best way to get to Halia is via the Tyersall Gate which is at Tyersall Avenue, a quiet lane that is easy to miss if you are unfamiliar with the area. There are carparks at Tyersall Gate vicinity.
