Casa Pietrasanta is a small Italian restaurant on level 2 of the Connexis building One-North, Buona Vista. With a Google review score of 4.8/5, this was one of the highest rated restaurants in Singapore that we have visited recently.
Small Modern Italian Restaurant
A sister restaurant of the larger Ristorante Pietrasanta which is located on the ground floor of the same building, Casa Pietrasanta, is a cosy Italian restaurant. Unlike its elder sister which has a more traditional Italian restaurant decor, the Casa has a modern feel. I believe its small size makes it a good location to hold private events. On the day of our dinner on a weekday, it was a quiet evening and we had the restaurant to ourselves.
Casa Pietrasanta Restaurant Menu
The restaurant only serves fixed course menus, with a choice of 3 or 4 course meals. Here is a picture of one of the menus on the Casa website. We opted for a three course dinner on this visit.
Our Peaceful Three Course Dinner
Appetisers
Our choices for appetisers were braised beef cheek (picture above) and burrata cream with rockets, Italian tomatoes, aged balsamic glaze. The beef cheek was quite a substantial starter, suitable for a hungry diner. The salad was lighter and more typical as an appetiser. Both of them were nice but in terms of taste, were not very memorable.
Main Courses
Our choices for main courses were roasted Iberico pork (picture above) and roasted duck in red wine sauce. They were both substantial dishes. The duck in particular was served in a generous portion.
Dessert
There were three choices for dessert, but only one appealed to us. So we departed from our usual habit of selecting different items to try. We were pleased with our choice of chocolate gelato cake, in fact we thought that it was the best selection of the evening. A sweet end to our quiet dinner at One North, Singapore.
