South & East at Kent Ridge Drive
Southeast Asian smokehouse South & East marks its first anniversary this November with a refreshed dine-in menu. Husband-and-wife team Shane Gan and Eve Wibawa apply western barbecue techniques and charcoal cooking to regional ingredients.

The kitchen now applies smoking techniques to individual components rather than large cuts alone. This approach appears in items like the smoked butter cake paired with pink guava and kaffir lime jam.
New additions include smoked pork ribs served with a house-made satay sauce and pickled pineapple. A vegetarian burrata dish pairs Italian cheese with a rempah-spiced peanut sauce and crispy keropok.
