Plentyfull Great World City was the cafe that we ended up having coffee and dessert after our lunch at the Tambuah Mas Indonesia restaurant. There are many cafes at the newly renovated GWC serving the same type of casual Western cuisine. But the bright open concept and decor was what made Plentyfull Great World City stand out from the crowd.
Plentyfull Bakery & Deli Great World City is located in an open area at the B1 level of the shopping mall. It looked light and casual. With an address of unit #B1-K119A, one might think that it is a small kiosk in the basement. That is not the case. This is probably the largest “kiosk” we have ever seen. The large kitchen enclosed in glass gave us a good view of what goes on inside.
As we can expect of a bakery & deli, a wonderful spread of bread and pastries was on display at the entrance. We like that everything just looked well made without being overly ostentatious in the decorations department. We were informed that it is an “eclectic Californian inspired bakery and deli counter serving up a selection of real foods inspired by quality produce from diverse sources” which serves freshly baked breads as well as a selection of sandwiches, salads, hot main dishes, and cakes”.
Plentyfull Bakery & Deli Great World City Menu
Here are pictures of the Plentyfull Bakery & Deli menu at Great World City. The range of food items on the menu is quite limited, with items mostly related to the bread baked at the kitchen. As we already had lunch we confined ourselves to the snacks. We selected a canele ($3.50) and a Croissant Choco Glory ($4.80) with our coffee.
We love the swirls of colour on the coffee cups and saucers. They were a nice contrast with the plain white plates used for food. The canele and croissant were very good. Precisely the kind of snack that goes well with coffee. The coffee ($5 and $6 for black and cappuccino respectively) was rich and complex in taste.
