Foodies’ Garden – Dine-in-the-Garden Food Court in Hougang Mall

Local F&B Group, SF Group Limited opens its first food court Foodies’ Garden™ in Hougang Mall. The garden-themed food court offers a variety of food and beverage brands allowing diners to choose from hawker favorites to international cuisines.

SF Group is an F&B operator with brands such as COLLIN’S, Daily Green, Hey Lulu and Teik Kee Chicken Rice. SF Group’s Foodies’ Clan is the concept where they bring a variety of food and beverage brands under one roof. Foodies’ Garden in Hougang Mall is their first food court and the brands operating there include Meng Meng Roasted Duck, Common Grill by COLLIN’S, Qiu Lian Ban Mee, King of Fried Rice, Chef Wei HK Cheong Fun and Saveur Thai.

The diverse range of affordable food available in Foodies’ Garden Food Court in Hougang Mall includes delicacies from Malaysia, Halal Thai food, Vietnamese Pho, Hong Kong Dim Sum, Japanese delights, healthy plant-based hot pot and indulgent Eurasian curry.

The new food court on level 4 of Hougang Mall has an interior design intended to give diners a dine-in-the-garden experience. The space looks pleasant and inviting.

Meng Meng Roasted Duck

Meng Meng Roasted Duck is one of the famous roasted meat brands from Johore Bahru. Located right at the main entrance of Foodies Garden, Meng Meng Roasted Duck sells herbal marinated charcoal-roasted ducks as well as other roasted meats. Its menu includes hor fun, side dishes and dim sum.

We tried their Roasted Duck and Char Siew and they were very good. The duck skin was crispy and the meat was tender and flavourful. The Malaysian style char siew was sweet and succulent.

Chef Wei HK Cheong Fun

The Hong Kong style cheong fun stall offers a variety of chee cheong fun, steamed rice and dim sum. The Mushroom Chee Cheong Fun is one of the most popular items.

Chef Wei is a former Peach Garden chef so you can expect freshly made restaurant quality cheong fun that is good value for money from Chef Wei HK Cheong Fun.

Daily Green

Daily Green allows you to choose a variety of vegetarian and plant-based dishes. Yong Tau Foo and Mala Hot Pot as well as Stir-fried Carrot Cake with OnlyEg are among the dishes available at Daily Green in Foodies’ Garden Hougang Mall.

Teppanyaki Omu Curry Rice

The name of the stall is as descriptive as it gets. Teppanyaki Omu Curry Rice offers Japanese Omelette Curry Rice with a variety of ingredients, such as Chicken Cutlet, Teriyaki Beef and Fried Shrimp.

Briyani 47 & Mama Lemak

Of course, you will find mutton and chicken briyani at Briyani 47, but they also serve tofu briyani and salted fish biryani. They also offer appam.

Mama Lemak offers nasi lemak. A special item to try is the coconut rice with Devil’s Chicken Curry (a popular Eurasian dish).

The Vietnamese chef behind Chef Minh Vietnamese Pho used to work at Wynn Palace in Macau. The chef-turned-hawker opened a stall in a Bukit Batok kopitiam beef and chicken variations of Ho Chi Minh-style pho.

Tasty bowls of authentic Vietnamese Pho and Banh Mi are now available at Chef Minh’s Vietnamese Pho in Foodies’ Garden in Hougaang.

Saveur Thai

Saveur Thai offers a wide range of authentic Thai food. Thai Basil Minced Chicken with Rice, Thai Tender Beef Ribs Brisket, Braised Lamb Shank in Massaman Curry and Tom Yum Chicken Red Soup are among the dishes available in the food court in Hougang Mall.
