The popular Din Tai Fung restaurant chain is ringing in the Easter season with a brand new menu item: the Cocoa Wafer Bun. It has also brought back crowd favourite Tom Yum Xiao Long Bao and 3 premium dishes.
鼎泰豐 Din Tai Fung (DTF) has launched a delectable new treat that will add a touch of sweetness to Easter celebrations – the Cocoa Wafer Bun 巧克力威化包. This limited-edition Easter special features a soft cocoa bun, made with top-quality flour air-flown from Taiwan, filled with a crunchy milk chocolate bar and topped with chopped hazelnuts. The different textures and flavours create a tasty treat. The Cocoa Wafer Bun will be available till 30 April 2024 at all Din Tai Fung restaurants in Singapore.
Din Tai Fung is also bringing back some of its most beloved special menu items, including the popular handmade Steamed Tom Yum Xiao Long Bao 冬炎小笼包. DTF’s take on this classic Thai dish offers a delightful burst of sour and spicy flavors, encased in their signature xiao long bao. This special item will also be available till 30 April 2024 only.
The three DTF Special Premium Dishes that have returned to the menu of selected outlets are:
Steamed Cod Fillet with Superior Soy Sauce 清蒸鳕鱼 (Marina Bay Sands & Paragon);
Deep-fried Handmade Tofu with Lotus Roots & Mushrooms 酥炸豆腐 (Marina Bay Sands, Paragon, One Holland Village, Great World & Jewel); and
Cantonese Sweet & Sour Pork 香酥咕佬肉 (Marina Bay Sands, Paragon, One Holland Village, Great World & Jewel).
These new and returning dishes are sure to excite DTF fans, but even without them, Din Tai Fung’s enduring popularity is undeniable. Long queues are a familiar sight at their numerous outlets across Singapore. So, be prepared to wait a bit if you’re craving a taste of Din Tai Fung’s new and special returning items.
