About Coffee Co. in Katong Shopping Centre
The new café is located on the first level of Katong Shopping Centre, at the end which is near Odeon Katong. It faces Mountbatten Road.
The café has a minimalist aesthetic, with a focus on clean lines and a zen-like atmosphere. It is a very small space – with 4 or 5 tiny tables and 2 counter seats.

About Coffee Co. prioritises specialty coffee, showcasing a selection of filter coffees alongside homemade kuehs and a small, rotating range of sweet and savoury pastries.

Coffee, Matcha & Snacks
We ordered a black coffee ($4.50) and a matcha latte ($6). Accompanying the beverages, we had a fruit cake ($4) and an apple tart ($4).
The cake was moist and dense, with a mix of dried fruits and nuts. It was not too big a slice and was not overly sweet.
The apple tart had pastry which was golden and flaky, with edges that curled up slightly. The apple slices had a light dusting of cinnamon powder and sugar. The apples slices were moist, tender and sweet, with just a hint of spice from the cinnamon. The combination of textures and flavours was delightful.
The coffee was smooth, with a mild acidity that added a pleasant brightness without being overpowering. The matcha latte was aromatic, smooth, and comforting.
Great for relaxing coffee break
While not a destination for full meals, About Coffee Co. is an ideal spot for a relaxing coffee break or a light bite, especially for those who appreciates high-quality brews. The small café’s focus on quality coffee, combined with its pleasing space, makes it a welcome addition to the Katong neighbourhood.
