Lunch at Imperial Treasure Teochew Ion, Teochew restaurant at Orchard Road.


Imperial Treasure Teochew Ion Orchard is a Teochew restaurant at Orchard Road. It received one Michelin star in the 2018 Michelin Guide Singapore. It had been some time since our last visit to this Teochew restaurant, having been there when they first opened in December 2016. You can see more pictures of the restaurant in our post on our previous visit. We decided to go there for a simple Teochew lunch before the very busy CNY 2019 festive season kicked in.

Colonial Club Paragon Orchard is a new restaurant that opened in the basement of this upmarket Orchard Road shopping mall. Thankfully, it wasn’t another upmarket restaurant with fancy dishes. They serve local favourites like chicken rice and nasi goreng in a nice setting. The prices are not too painful as well. It looks like Colonial Club Signatures is a great place to try good local food at Orchard at an affordable price.
