Edge is presenting a “Street Food Paradise” buffet in honour of Singapore’s hawker culture from 8 to 19 July 2019.
Be transported back to the 1960s and 1970s where classic street side favourites originating from Glutton’s Square (one of Singapore’s oldest hawker centre with more than 80 stalls) await.
Find a repertoire of iconic dishes reinterpreted by Chef Howard Leong on the buffet menu such as Malay Kampong Nasi Lemak, Chinese Wok-fried Seafood Hokkien Noodles with Homemade Sambal Chilli and Lime. Continue to delight in the sinfully fried Cucur Tiram (Oyster Fritters with Bean Sprouts, Peanuts and Sweet Chilli Dip), artfully grilled Ocean Gems Bakar (Combination of Prawns, Squids, Scallops and Catch of the Day) with Sambal Onions, Chinchalok and Calamansi, and delightful Rainbow Chicken Slider in your choice of flavour – Chilli Crab, Black Pepper, Satay, Thai-style, Tandoori, Sambal or Hoi Sin Ginger. Transformed under the deft culinary mastery of Chef Mok Kit Keung, each of the 8 preparations available with this promotion are inspired by the insights garnered from his travels.
